There are various moments throughout the year that Faro celebrates and spectacularly dresses up the city for these events. The festive events of this region are very interesting.

The Commemoration of April 25th is one of the most important dates of the year in Faro. Music concerts, gastronomy, dances, lots of partying and fun during a few days in the month of April. On the other hand we must also mention the Festivity of Ria Formosa which celebrates gastronomy, and where everyone gets to sample exquisite dishes. This one takes place in the month of July.

The folklore festival in Faro is celebrated in August and following this comes the Patron Saint festivities of this locality in September.
