Kitesurf is a fairly new sport that has grown in numerous spots around the world where the conditions permit. For this sport you need, beach, sand, wind and space. In the district of Faro there are many places where we´ll find these important factors.
Alvor is the most famous location for kitesurfing. It is found in the locality of Portimao, although in Tavira they also kitesurf, as well as in localities like Lago and Lagoa.
You will find numerous kitesurf schools around the coast of the Algarve.
